- The Accommodation
The apartment is situated on the fourth floor, serviced by two lifts, has two spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and the twin is adjacent to the house bathroom. Both bedrooms have ample space to accommodate the most bulging of suitcases!
The light and spacious living room area is comfortably and tastefully furnished, complete with cable TV, video recorder and music centre.The lounge area leads onto the west facing balcony with lovely sea views The kitchen/breakfast room is well designed and equipped to a high standard - gas cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge /freezer, dishwasher - everything you need for the days you want to cook. There is a small utility room with washing machine and drying area for your laundry.
Home from Home
Towels, bed linen, beach towels, iron and hairdryer are all supplied - we hope to make this a home from home. If you are staying more than one week there will be a change of bed linen and towels every week. A starter pack of tea, milk etc will be there to welcome you.

The Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is set amongst beautiful terraced and landscape gardens with uninterrupted views of the sea. You can sunbathe in these peaceful surroundings or stroll down to the promenade below the apartments for a swim in the sea or in the new pool complex.
The Location
Quinta da Falésia is situated between the Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel and the Duas Torres Hotel on the Estrada Monumental. This is where most of the main tourist hotels of Madeira are to be found. Restaurants, bars, banks, shops and supermarkets are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. There is a bus service directly outside the apartment and the service is frequent and cheap. Taxis too, are easily flagged down and it costs about €4 to the centre of Funchal. We have an allocated car space for our apartment should you hire a car. There is a new promenade below the apartment where you will find swimming pools and sea-water rock pools. It makes for a pleasant stroll to the swimming pools at the Lido and Funchal on your left or the beach at Praia Formosa to your right. - Tourist Attractions
